Indiana Precision Grinding, Inc. (IPG) has expanded its operations with the addition of a new Studer S33 CNC high-precision universal cylindrical grinder. “We are very excited about the addition of the S33,” said IPG CEO, Dave Cox. “The technology and capabilities of the S33 allows us to be far more innovative with our grinding processes, allowing us to achieve process designs that greatly improve productivity and quality.”

“This is a fast-growing area of our business,” said Cox. “We have committed to expanding our operations to meet the needs of our thermal spray coating customers.”

The Studer S33 grinder features a new control and a new wheel head design for grinding even more complex work piece geometrics in a single clamping. By combining two OD grinding spindles in a single CNC controlled platform, the S33 raises efficiency and output to new heights while delivering consistent precision.
