  • Centerless Grinding

    IPG offers both through-feed and in-feed centerless grinding, utilizing a diverse group of specialized machines. We work in both small and large batches, performing to industry leading tolerances. While we perform standard jobs, we specialize in providing unique manufacturing solutions utilizing centerless grinders. IPG employs centerless grinding when possible to provide the best solutions in quality and efficiency.

  • Cylindrical OD Grinding

    Utilizing the newest and best technology available in world class CNC cylindrical OD grinding equipment, IPG provides the equipment and tooling packages to match your project with the ideal set-up to achieve highly efficient processes. Within our CNC capabilities, we utilize the latest in vitrified CBN and diamond abrasives to provide grinding solutions for highly hardened materials and thermally applied carbides.

  • Cylindrical ID Grinding

    IPG utilizes CNC cylindrical ID grinders with multiple grinding wheel spindle set-ups, along with the latest in vitrified CBN and diamond abrasives to provide solutions for your most demanding projects. We are equipped to handle the grinding of thermally applied carbides. With a vast array of diverse work holding, IPG has the machine set-up to match your ID grinding needs.

  • Surface Grinding

    IPG not only performs conventional surface grinding, but goes beyond the typical process specializing in very close flatness and parallel requirements. With our latest CNC surface grinder equipped with diamond dressing roll and single point dressing functions IPG has the capability to provide you with close tolerance form grinding solutions. IPG utilizes the latest in CBN and diamond abrasives to efficiently grind highly hardened materials and thermally applied carbides.

  • Vertical Universal Grinding

    Our vertical universal grinder can provide you with single chucking set-ups of large work pieces. We grind the ID, OD and faces of cylindrical part features achieving very close circularity between the ID and OD and squareness of diameters to ground faces. A major advantage of using a vertical grinder is the workpiece requires less clamping forces, which results in less distortion and better free-state roundness.

  • Double Disk Grinding

    Our rotary carrier style double disk grinder has the ability to simultaneously grind both sides of a flat part in a non-contained state, producing parts with superior flatness. A major advantage of double disk grinding is that production rates are generally 100 percent greater than those obtained with surface grinding.

  • Superfinishing

    For your high-precision parts, IPG offers superfinishing. Utilizing a low temperature and low stock removal process, superfinishing improves part geometry and surface finish by removing the amorphous layer formed during the grinding process. This dramatically improves these imperfections, which can compromise part quality and performance.
